Luxury tented camps, in India

Sleeping in a tent, in India, can mean sleeping in a palace of canvas: four-poster beds, stone bathrooms, verandas over the jungle or the desert, and dinner beneath the stars. The luxury tented camps lie in the most beautiful and wildest corners of the country: on the edges of the tiger parks, among the dunes of the Thar, in the leopard hills, below the monasteries of Ladakh. Almost all of them open only in the best season, closing during the monsoon or the winter.
